About Spec OPS K9
For almost three decades, I have been dedicated to training dogs, a side profession that has been both deeply rewarding and incredibly challenging. My journey began with a passion for canines and a desire to harness their innate abilities. Over the years, I have worked with a variety of breeds, each with its own unique strengths and personalities. One of the most
satisfying aspects of training was working with protection dogs and witnessing their transformation from puppies into loyal and capable companions.
I also have found through rigorous training, these dogs learned to identify threats, protect their handlers, and carry out specific tasks with precision. It’s a testament to their intelligence, trainability, and unwavering loyalty. In addition to training Protection K9’s for private individuals, executive details and the Border Patrol, I have also had the privilege of training and handling elite working dogs with Special Forces Units.
These experiences have been particularly demanding, requiring the dogs to meet the highest standards of performance and reliability in high-stakes environments. The challenges and rewards from training these dogs for such elite organizations have been invaluable and has provided me with a deep understanding of canine psychology and behavior.
The intense training regimens and high-pressure environments have also taught me the unique ability to read dogs and use special techniques to teach them in ways others can’t. Whether I’m teaching dogs basic commands or complex scenarios, the training and experiences my dogs or clients dogs receive is the best that’s out there.
